Pete Cashmore (Mashable) is so well groomed here, he reminds me of a Ken doll. Alright Mattel, Ken and his pals need a new accessory. Get on it.

A new goofy thing about the wild turkeys I’ve seen (and heard) this spring. Here’s this comic on my site.

Thanks for your comments on my last post — so interesting!

In my yard. Every single day.

A while ago, I penned a fairly angry response to something circulating on the internet – the 21 Habits of Happy People. It pissed me off beyond belief, that there was an inference that if you weren’t Happy, you simply weren’t doing the right things.

I’ve had depression for as long as I can…

Might I add that mentally slapping someone who tells you to “Get over your pity party” or “Shouldn’t you be feeling better by now?” is rather cheering. If you can summon the energy. Otherwise just ignore their blather as so much annoying background noise to your pain. Note: Slapping them for reals probably does not count as exercise. Darn.

Cats aren’t exactly the biggest fans of getting their pictures taken.

Day 3 of the 2012 Hubble Space Telescope Advent Calendar, one of 25 photos (eventually). A small portion of the Carina Nebula, one of the largest seen star-birth regions in the galaxy. Towers of cool hydrogen laced with dust rise from the wall of the nebula. The image captures the top of a three-light-year-tall pillar of gas and dust that is being eaten away by the brilliant light from nearby bright stars. The pillar is also being pushed apart from within, as infant stars buried inside it fire off jets of gas that can be seen streaming from towering peaks like arrows sailing through the air. (NASA, ESA, and M. Livio and the Hubble 20th Anniversary Team, STScI)

In Soviet Russia, kitten adopts YOU.

You can’t possibly say no to that.

“yes, quite. This human shall do.”

Wallace!
